« The trust you place in us is precious. We are committed to protecting families' privacy and ensuring the security of the personal information you entrust to us, within a clear, respectful framework that follows best practices. »

01 Collection and use of personal data

Personal information is collected during registration and administrative management, including email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses of families.

Exclusive use

This data is used exclusively for internal communication purposes:

  • Course organization and scheduling
  • Important updates related to activities and events
  • Emergency situations or last-minute changes
Relevance

We only collect information strictly necessary for the proper functioning of our services and the safety of students.

02 Non-disclosure of data to third parties

The organization maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding unauthorized data sharing.

Absolute confidentiality
“No personal information is sold, exchanged or disclosed for commercial or marketing purposes. The only third parties with access are the technical providers required to deliver the service, described below.”
Security

Records are kept securely and accessible only to authorized administrative personnel, within the strict scope of their duties.

Hosting and service providers

Some operations are entrusted to specialised providers. Here is what they are, what information is shared with them, and for what purpose:

  • Data hosting — Supabase, United States (us-east-1 region, Northern Virginia): family records, registrations, schedules and class attendance.
  • Payment processing — name, email and card details, processed outside Quebec. Serclet does not store any card numbers.
  • Email delivery — name and email address, for receipts, confirmations and reminders.
  • Website hosting — IP addresses and technical logs, for as long as needed to run and secure the site.

These providers may use your information only for the purposes above and are not permitted to use it otherwise. Several are located outside Quebec and their servers are subject to the laws of their country: in accordance with Law 25, you are informed of these cross-border transfers.

03 Image rights: photos and videos

The organization documents students' creativity and progress while prioritizing the protection of their privacy.

Written consent required
« No photo or video taken during workshops, lessons or events will be published publicly — website, social media, promotional materials — without your written, free and explicit consent. »
Respecting refusal

A consent form is provided at registration. All refusals are fully respected: children for whom consent has not been granted do not appear in any public materials.

04 Contact and family rights

Families may contact administration regarding confidentiality, data access, modification or deletion inquiries.
